Italian luxury sports carmaker Ferrari has opened a new showroom in Riyadh, strengthening its presence in Saudi Arabia and introducing its latest global retail design concept to the region for the first time.
Located at Canopy Plaza on Riyadh’s Northern Ring Road, the showroom is operated by Fast Auto Technic, Ferrari’s official importer in Saudi Arabia since 1998. The company says the facility is designed to serve not only as a place to purchase vehicles but also as a destination for Ferrari owners, collectors and enthusiasts.
The opening reflects the growing importance of Saudi Arabia to international luxury brands as the Kingdom develops its premium retail, tourism and entertainment sectors.
Ferrari Introduces New Showroom Concept in Riyadh
Ferrari said the Riyadh location is the first showroom in Asia and the Middle East to adopt its newest global design concept, giving the Saudi capital a prominent position in the company’s international retail network.
The ground floor features a main display area showcasing the latest Ferrari models, alongside a dedicated configuration space where customers can personalise their vehicles by selecting materials, colours and finishes.
A retractable shutter allows the configuration area to be enclosed, providing privacy for buyers as they make decisions about their cars.
The same space can also be transformed into a private delivery room, allowing customers to receive their new vehicles in a more personal setting with friends and family.
Personalisation and Exclusive Customer Experiences
The showroom’s design reflects a wider shift in the ultra-luxury automotive market, where brands increasingly compete through personalised services, exclusivity and customer experiences alongside vehicle performance.
Ferrari plans to use the Riyadh facility to host private gatherings, new-model presentations and other events for its Saudi customer base.
The showroom will also offer certified pre-owned vehicles through the Ferrari Approved programme. These cars will be kept in a dedicated storage area, separate from the display space for new models.
By combining sales, vehicle configuration, private deliveries and owner events, Ferrari aims to establish a permanent meeting point for its community in Saudi Arabia rather than operating a conventional dealership alone.
Saudi Arabia Gains Importance for Luxury Automakers
The showroom’s opening comes as global luxury and performance-car manufacturers seek to deepen their presence in Saudi Arabia. Economic diversification, investment in entertainment and tourism, and demand from affluent consumers are creating opportunities for premium automotive brands.
Riyadh has become an increasingly significant market for international luxury companies, supported by the Kingdom’s broader development ambitions under Vision 2030.
However, Ferrari and Fast Auto Technic have not disclosed the showroom’s size, investment cost or projected annual sales.
Ferrari Signals Long-Term Commitment to the Kingdom
The decision to introduce its latest showroom identity in Riyadh highlights the market’s importance to Ferrari’s regional strategy.
The company is positioning the facility as more than a retail outlet, with an emphasis on building lasting relationships through tailored services and exclusive experiences.
For Ferrari, the next step will be to turn the Kingdom’s interest in high-performance vehicles into long-term customer engagement. The new showroom is intended to support that ambition by bringing vehicle sales, personalisation and the Ferrari ownership experience together under one roof.
