Etihad Airways has announced a landmark expansion of its global network with the launch of direct flights between Abu Dhabi and Luxembourg, becoming the first airline from the Middle East to serve Luxembourg. The historic new route further strengthens Etihad’s presence in Europe while reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s position as a key international aviation hub.
Scheduled to begin on October 29, 2026, the service will operate three times weekly, offering passengers seamless, non-stop connectivity between the UAE capital and one of Europe’s most important financial and business centres. The route will be operated using Etihad’s new Airbus A321LR aircraft, designed to deliver long-range performance alongside a modern and comfortable onboard experience.
The introduction of the A321LR reflects Etihad’s strategic approach to fleet deployment, allowing the airline to efficiently serve longer routes while maintaining high standards of comfort and service.
