In a powerful symbol of national integration and progress, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, took a personal journey aboard Etihad Rail, traveling from Dubai to Fujairah. The high-profile visit served not only as a review of the ambitious rail project’s development but also as a testament to its strategic importance for the UAE’s economic and infrastructural future.

The Dubai-Fujairah route is part of the Etihad Rail’s expansive national network, which is designed to link the Emirates from the Ghuwaifat border with Saudi Arabia to Fujairah on the east coast, spanning over 1,200 kilometers.
