New facility to drive innovation in artificial intelligence, industrial IoT, and data infrastructure, bolstering UAE’s position as a global tech hub
Qualcomm Technologies has announced its plans to establish a cutting-edge global engineering centre in Abu Dhabi, further expanding its international network of innovation hubs. This new facility will focus on the development of advanced technologies in artificial intelligence (AI), the industrial Internet of Things (IoT), and data centre solutions—fields that are rapidly shaping the future of global industries.
Strategically located in the UAE capital, the Qualcomm Engineering Center is designed to respond to growing local and international demand for intelligent, scalable, and power-efficient technology solutions. The centre will be integral in accelerating high-performance connectivity and computing, with applications across critical sectors including energy, manufacturing, logistics, retail, and smart mobility.
