Clarita de Quiroz Unleashes Her Boldest Era Yet with “Yallabye”

Following her chart-topping hit “Wizard,” the powerhouse vocalist fuses Arabic influence with global pop on her genre-defying new single, out June 27.

In a dynamic return to the spotlight, Clarita de Quiroz is once again breaking new ground—this time with “Yallabye,” her most daring and sonically adventurous single yet. Set for release on June 27, the track follows the explosive success of “Wizard,” her first No. 1 hit on iTunes and the defining moment of her musical journey thus far.

But if “Wizard” was about finding magic in emotion, “Yallabye” is about reclaiming power through clarity. The single boldly blends Clarita’s signature piano-driven pop and rich vocals with Middle Eastern musicality, showcasing a fresh artistic evolution rooted in both personal and cultural identity.

“I’ve always been inspired by the beauty and rhythm of Arabic music,” says Clarita. “‘Yallabye’ is my way of acknowledging that influence, both musically and emotionally, while still staying true to my vocal identity.”

The track’s title, a fusion of the commonly used Arabic word “Yalla” (meaning “let’s go” or “come on”) and a play on the word “goodbye,” captures the dual energy of empowerment and departure. While the lyrics remain entirely in English, the song’s heartbeat pulses with regional flavor—introducing listeners worldwide to a sound that’s both bold and deeply personal.

What sets “Yallabye” apart creatively is its collaborative spirit. Unlike her previous releases, Clarita stepped outside her usual process and enlisted Matthew Riley of Wastland Productions to pen the lyrics.

“I usually write all my own material,” Clarita explains. “But I had a hard time channeling this particular theme. I told Matthew, ‘I love to remain positive!’—so diving into a breakup-style narrative wasn’t natural for me.”

Despite that initial discomfort, “Yallabye” emerges as a fiercely empowering anthem—one that speaks to the universal moment of walking away from deceit, choosing self-worth, and finding freedom through expression.

“It’s not about anyone in particular,” Clarita notes. “But it’s inspired by the real-life experiences of people I know. It’s about that final moment of clarity where you say ‘enough’—and then dance your way out.”

This new chapter in Clarita’s musical journey signals more than just sonic experimentation—it’s a reclamation of voice and vision. Where “Wizard” touched hearts with emotional resonance, “Yallabye” electrifies the soul with bold rhythm, cross-cultural flair, and lyrical fire.

“I’m so grateful for the love and support that ‘Wizard’ received,” Clarita shares. “It’s been overwhelming in the best way, and I hope people connect with this new chapter just as much.”

With “Yallabye,” Clarita de Quiroz proves once again that she’s an artist unafraid to grow, challenge expectations, and create music that moves people—across cultures, languages, and genres.

Catch “Yallabye” on all streaming platforms June 28. This isn’t just a single—it’s a statement.
